In 2008 Ecopack started the most large-scale presentation of separate package waste collection in Bulgaria. The company organized a one of its kind ecological road show, which aimed to show how to generate good for secondary utilization- raw material, using the three-colored container system: Blue container – for paper and cardboard packages; Yellow container – for metal and plastic packages; Green container – for glass packages. The traveling teams of Ecopack stop in every city that is a part of the organization’ separate collection system and attract big and small to a joyful eco-celebration. The participants learn haw to dispose waste separately, they play and win prizes together. Everyone who disposes waste correctly into the mobile Ecopack terminal wins a surprise prize. Everyone who attends takes part in the lottery for the big prize – a home-based separate waste container. The spectacles are a part of the educational campaign – ”Be modern! Recycle!” The campaign will cover more than 95 municipalities in the country.
