On 30 th September 2009, within the International Fair in Plovdiv was held specially organized "Meeting of Czech business with Bulgarian companies”. The event was organized at the initiative of the Czech Chamber of Commerce by Olomuts region in cooperation with the Czech Chamber of Commerce of the Moravia-Silesia region. Similar meetings and business conversation were held as well on October 1, 2009 in Sofia in cooperation with the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. During the two meetings, were discussed the various opportunities for joint business cooperation, investments and joint projects with established Czech companies that have strong business interests in Bulgaria. Within the forum were organized direct conversations between the Bulgarian and Czech companies in the same or similar industrial branch. A key factor was the individual meetings between companies from both countries to increase the effectiveness of negotiations and reaching a specific business results.
